The true Canadian dream of carving out our own space in the wild.

We spent five years designing and building the cabin ourselves. When asked recently if we could relive any day of our lives, which day would we pick and why? We both chose the start of our cabin journey, when the kids were still little. We spent many nights camped out on the land, working from sunup to sundown. We told stories around the campfire, and watched their imaginations run wild. It was hard work, overwhelming at times, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

“A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.”
